The Reason for my Journey into Green Beauty, Vegan, and Cruelty-free World.

 The are several reason for my journey like cancer, autism, health scare,and cruelty of animals.

Cancer is like a nightmare that pops up in your life. It affects many of people, animals, and love ones in our life. 

Grandma-  It started in my life (I was in sixth grade) when my grandma was diagnosed with ovarian cancer. Cancer shocked the family. I looked up to my grandma, she was so beautiful, smart, strong, and was a star (she would have been a great actress). My grandma Barbara had surgery to remove the basketball size of cancer in her lower body. She went through chemo. She was cleared & cancer free after 5 years but it returned. It was in lymph nodes.passed away at 81 in 2015.  She always cared and loved wearing makeup and doing her hair.💕

 Another wonderful, strong, beauty queen, and smart women in my life was my husband's grandma Anthis. She received the news when she was in her late 70's. She was known as the "looker" back in the day which means the good looking one. I have learned so much from the woman. When she got the news she was in stage four cancer. It spread through out her body by the time she got treatment. She went through chemo, radiation, and on to physical therapy in order to go back home.She passed away in her sleep in 2011.💕

She was a wonderful, beautiful, smart but sassy barefoot woman. I'm speaking about my husband mother Sue. She was a awesome cook and baker. She made wonderful birthday & wedding cake. She was also a artist in drawing and painting. She was diagnosed in 2013. She had cancer in the lower body had it removed then chemo, radiation but spread throughout her body. She passed away in 2014 at age of 64.💕

My scare was in 2012. My lower body was in so much pain that I went to doctors general doctor, gastroenterology, internal medicine physician, urologist, and gynecologist. They couldn't figure out what was going on. Tests: blood work, labs, ct scan, and MRI. Finally gynecologist help. Had a pap and came back abnormal then another abnormal. I had a hysterectomy and tested my organs and came back clear of cancer. I had ovarian cysts that wouldn't go away but get bigger than burst, uterine fibroid, inflamed cervix, pcos, and more. My surgery was in 2014💕

My son was diagnosed with autism at the age of five but he couldn't talk at the age of three. He made sounds and noises. Repetitive actions, behavior issues, sensory disorder, and developmental delay and more. 💙

Last year in 2016 my dog Simon past away from lymph node cancer because it spread through out his body. He died in my arms. My love.💗

These are why I started my journey in green beauty, cruelty-free beauty and clean foods.

1.  What is your skin type? My skin type is sensitive, reactive, dry skin with some breakouts.
2.  How do you store your skincare products? I store my skincare product under my bathroom sink and the ones on rotation are on my bathroom counter. My bathroom doesn't get a lot of light.
3.  Most indulgent product? Kani Botanicals  Petal Polish, it's a exfoliant but hydrating, smoothing and clears my skin.
4.  Do you use any tools? Nothing at this time. No Clarisonic or facial brush.
5.  Best Budget buy? Yes to brands facial mask. Yes to Primrose & Yes to cotton.
6.  What is your favorite ingredient? Aloe because it soothes, protects, and hydrates the skin.
7.  What the best mask? So far it's a tied with Tata Harper Resurfacing Mask & Mahalo Petal Mask.
8.  Best Multi- use? Kani Botanical Rose Tone hydrates my skin before & after makeup gets rid of any powder face or refresh spray to calm.
9. If you could use only one skincare brand what would it be? So hard! Kani Botanicals because so far it has irritated my sensitive skin. Plus they have awesome body scrub & facial mist with rose.
10.  Best Spot treatment? Haven't tried on.
11.  What favorite step of your skincare routine? Getting in the shower using the Kani Botanicals  Petal Polish Mask.
12.  What's on your skincare wishlist? Try Leahlani care, Jade skin roller, Battington lashes, and Bite beauty lip-liners and more Kani Botanicals products.

I like to use their sample because you can sample some higher end green beauty brands.

In this photo, I recently purchase a sample of Mahalo Petal Mask  (which is enough for one mask) makes my skin smooth, soft, and moisturizing. 

Also Mahalo The Unveil Cleanser Melt Concentrate (which for three uses if stretching it) still reviewing.

Tata Harper Honey Blossom Mask (one use) smell so yummy. I like the resurfacing mask a little more. 

Sappho New Paradigm Liquid Foundation in 2 & 3 I like it but it shows my pores and dry skin but that could be because my skin is so dry. I like it doesn't come off on your fingers if you touch your face. (Enough for one more try on each sample)

The Detox Market are very nice if your samples leak. They reached out to me about it. I had enough that it didn't need to be replaced. Awesome customer service!! 

Past Samples: Mahalo Petal Mask I love this one for dry skin

Mahalo Rare Indigo Balm great too for dry skin but the smell, not my favorite.

 Mahalo Vacation Glow (which leaked) Smells so yummy, made my skin so glowy. 

RMS Magic luminizer great champagne color.

 Osmia Organics Sunset Body Oil not a fan of the smell.

Vapour Beauty Atmosphere Luminous Foundation to use have to work into the skin so you can blend it. The smell was a little off-putting to me but light natural smell. Light to medium coverage.
